The Utah Valley State College's Turning Points in History lecture series will focus on sexuality in history Monday night, Nov. 12.
University of Utah history professor Elizabeth Clement will present "Straights, Gays and Everybody Else: Does Sexuality Have a History?" at 7:00 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Building, Room 101.
"A lot of people think sexuality is somehow biological and somehow it hasn't changed over time, and that just isn't true," said Clement in a release. "So it will be nice to introduce new ideas to people and discuss the power, identity and purpose of sexuality."
The lecture is free and open to the public.
