LGBT equality debate

The University of Utah debate team will host a public debate over non-discrimination ordinances that protect against sexual orientation and gender identity bias in the workplace and in housing. The event will feature members from the Utah Eagle Forum, Equality Utah and the High Road for Human Rights. The event is open and free to the public.

Brats, Beers and Blues

Holocaust commemoration day

Holocaust Remembrance Day is for remembering the victims of the Holocaust through prayer, music, literary readings and a candle memorial. Gov. Gary Herbert will deliver a proclamation and the program will include a variety of guest speakers to tell the stories of some of the Holocaust heroes.

sWerve Bees game & picnic

The root, root, root for the home team and picnic event is open for the ladies of sWerve. The sWerve group is for queer, lesbian, bisexual and transgender women to socialize and raise funds for the community. The picnic is a pre-pay event only.
