Queer ski club’s season kicks off

Despite the lack of snowfall this winter, SkiOut Utah has an exciting schedule for the season. Starting with a Ski Safari Jan. 4-8, SkiOut Utah, a group of queer-inclusive ski and snowboard enthusiasts, will be hosting the San Diego and San Francisco gay ski clubs. Other events this season include lunches, the legendary QUAC Ski-N-Swim and multiple days on the slopes.

The Ski Safari kicks off on Jan. 4 with a day of skiing at The Canyons followed by a meet and greet for locals and visitors. Shuttles will be leaving from the Salt Lake City Sheraton and locals are welcome to join the schedule. The group will go to Alta and Snowbird resorts on Jan. 5, Snowbird on Jan. 6, Snowbasin on Jan. 7 and Solitude on Jan. 8. Also, various lunches and after-parties will be held throughout the weekend.
