Queer-inclusive soap opera celebrates Utah debut

The locally-filmed and produced online soap opera Proper Manors will be hosting a red carpet debut in at Peery’s Egyptian Theatre in Ogden on May 29, 6 p.m. The queer-inclusive series will bring actors such as Hunter Gomez (National Treasure) and Anne Sward (As the World Turns) along with various other local and national talent.

The festivities will kick off with a red carpet premier, leading up to the lobby where friends and fans will join a panel discussion with the creators and talent .

An after-party for the premier will be held at Soul & Bones Cajun BBQ, 9:15 p.m.

Both the Proper Manors Red Carpet Premier and the after party are open to the public ages 5 and up. The 22-minute series premier contains some strong themes and sexual content and is intended for mature audiences only.

Tickets for the premier are $11 online, $15 at the door and can be purchased at Peery’s Egyptian Theater in person, via SmithTix or on the official Proper Manors website at www.propermanors.tv.

After party tickets are $20 and are only available on the Proper Manors website and must be purchased before May 23 at 5:00 p.m.
