The U.S. Supreme Court did not issue rulings Monday in two closely watched cases — the Constitutionality of California’s ban on same-sex marriage, and the Defense of Marriage Act defining marriage at the federal level as the legal union of one man and one woman for purposes.

The next possible date the Court could issue opinions in these cases is Thursday, June 20.
