House sales will benefit homeless youth shelter

Impressed with the efforts of Volunteers in America-Utah in their efforts to change the laws regarding runaway youth in Utah and their efforts to open a new youth overnight shelter, Salt Lake real estate agent Ryan Fischer is donating 20 percent of his net earnings on the sale of any house to them through the end of the year. On a $300,000 closing, that donation would average about $1200 towards the shelter.

“With over ten years in social work, I’m familiar with the struggles of homeless youth in our community,” Fischer said. “Let’s do what we can. No one should be without shelter, especially during our winters.”

“This is a cause I feel very strongly about and am proud to get behind,” Fischer continued. “Even if you are not selling or buying right now, you can still help. Chances are you know someone who needs to move, or buy, or relocate. Lot’s of life changes cause need for real estate professionals. Keep your ears open, have them call me.”

Fischer also donates his time to raise charities at Third Friday Bingo under the personae of Ginger Powers.
