Weber County Clerk opening today to issue marriage licenses

According to Max Green, advocacy coordinator for Equality Utah, Weber County WILL be open today to process marriage licenses beginning at 1 p.m. Green said he has talked to both Weber County Clerk/Auditor Ricky D. Hatch and Ogden Mayor Mike Caldwell, confirming the office opening.

Applicants must be in line before 2 p.m. to be processed today.

To speed up the process, couples can complete the online form by printing it out here.

Only two employees will be available to process the applications.

Deacon Robb Trujillo of Glory to God Old Catholic Church will be on-hand to marry couples on the spot. Jolene Mewing and Rev. Gage Church will also be marrying people. Other officiants are welcome to come provide their services.

The offices are located at Ogden City Hall, 2380 Washington Blvd., Suite 320.

According to OUTreach Resources Center director Marian Edmonds, “The front doors will not be open, so you have to park in the garage, and go in the entrance from the garage. The garage entrance to the Weber Center is off of 24th street.”

  2. I will make it a point to NOT do business with any company or business who proclaims that they are pro gay. If the support gay rights, good, but keep it to yourselves.
