Listen to this article

The legislative session is heating up and the Equality Utah Freedom Brunch is right around the corner, on Saturday, Feb. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.

“There’s no better time than the present to purchase your tickets or table to Equality Utah’s premier political event, the Freedom Brunch,” the group said in a statement. “We are more than halfway sold out.”

The event will take place in the Capitol Rotunda and will feature speakers who will update attendees on the legislative session and political work of Equality Utah PAC.

During the brunch, there will be a legislative update by Sen. Jim Dabakis and Sen. Steve Urquhart on SB99 and SB100. Turner C. Bitton will speak on the importance of running for office and 13-year-old Riley Hackford-Peer will speak on working together to create change for the better in our state.

Tickets are available here for $75 for an individual ticket or $500 for a table of 8. All proceeds go to Equality Utah PAC that works to elect fair-minded candidates into office in the state of Utah.
