Listen to this articleThe Utah AIDS Foundation has extended the deadline to register for the 2017 Salt Lake AIDS Walk.
Participants who register and raise just $10 by this Sunday, July 30 at 5 p.m. will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the hit Broadway production of the Book of Mormon on August 15th.
The free event raises funds for Utah AIDS Foundation and is a 2.5 mile pledge walk through downtown Salt Lake City.
The walk is Saturday, September 16 beginning at 9 a.m. at the City Creek Center
“The Salt Lake AIDS Walk aims to reduce stigma while encouraging a healthier community,” organizers said in a statement. “This is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Utah AIDS Foundation and its services. Family, friends, and dogs are welcome.”
Walkers can sign up as an individual and start or join a team today.
