Listen to this articleThe charity for this month’s Matrons of Mayhem Third Friday Drag Bingo is Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue. They are a volunteer group that saves the lives of Great Danes by funding their medical care, advanced surgical treatments, spay/neuters, food, and shelter.
Admission at the door is $6 for one card or two for $10, party foul insurance is available for $25, giving you immunity if you or someone at your table does something egregious enough to warrant a foul. You can get the Flamingo Hat of Shame placed on your favorite victim’s head for $5. Or worse, make them get dressed up in camp drag for $50.
Kitchen concessions are available for purchase, including hot dogs, soft pretzels, nachos, soft drinks, and candy bars.
This is event takes place at First Baptist Church, 777 S. 1300 East. Bingo starts at 7 p.m., it get there early as this is one of the Matron’s most-attended events of the year. Bingo is family-friendly, kids are welcome and encouraged.
This is an alcohol-free event, which is very different than a free-alcohol event.
