Utah AIDS Foundation Food Bank asking for special help
The Utah AIDS Foundation Food Bank is making a special appeal for donations during the current health crisis. Donations made are now being matched, according to leaders.
“Our concern for our clients and their ongoing health is higher than ever in response to COVID-19,” wrote Brandy Romero, supportive services coordinator. “Together with your support, we can keep clients safe and prepared for weeks ahead.”
“With your support, we can provide all the items needed to nourish a healthy life. I’m asking you today for your financial support to help maintain full shelves and support all that goes into our food bank.
Please make a donation today,” Romero said. “Your generosity will especially be appreciated by our homebound clients during these challenging times facing our community.”
Utah AIDS Foundation provides roughly 34,000 meals a year to Utah residents who are living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Accessing the food bank means clients can focus on staying healthy.
