The organization began producing an annual holiday commercial two years ago, and they became a highly anticipated part of the country’s Christmas festivities.
This year’s four-minute ad, titled When Harry Met Santa, honors the 50-year anniversary of Norway decriminalizing homosexuality by telling the tale of a man falling in love with Ol’ Saint Nick. The final screen is a message “In 2022, Norway marks 50 years of being able to love whoever we want.”
