Win tickets to Dorian Electra, coming to The Complex March 20

Genre-bending musician Dorian Electra (they/them) is performing at The Complex on March 20, and QSaltLake has two pairs of tickets to give away to our lucky readers!

The American singer-songwriter is currently touring 32 stops across Europe and the US as part of Fanfare – The World Tour, which kicked off in Warsaw, Poland.

During the Salt Lake show will be supporting acts Hellp, Uffie, and Izzy Spears.

Electra’s latest album, Fanfare, was released on October 26, and the artist closed out the year, performing for fans in Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia.

The record, which is the musician’s third studio album, was written in collaboration with Clarence Clarity and Weston Allen, Casey MQ, Count Baldor and Klaxons’ Jamie Reynolds. It explores, “parasocial relationships, from the claims we stake on celebrities’ lives to taking in obsession, idolatry and pop culture as modern mythology.”

Each track expresses feelings of love and hate, fandom and control, and the album has earned critical praise from Billboard, VMan, Dazed, and The Needle Drop. Dorian’s musical style blends genres of pop, metal, jazz, and classical music to create their own unique sound.

Fanfare builds upon Dorian’s first two albums Flamboyant (2019) and My Agenda (2020) and traverses the socio-political effects of internet culture and the rise of parasocial relationships.

Tickets to see Dorian Electra’s Salt Lake gig at The Complex are available now from $27.50, but for a chance to win a pair of tickets, complete the sites below.

The competition closes at midnight on Tuesday, March 18, 2024. Winners will be contacted directly and shared on social media.
