The University of Utah will host its annual Pride Week celebration March 30 through April 3, offering a campus-wide series of events honoring LGBTQIA+ histories, cultures, and communities.
Organizers describe Pride Week as a celebration centered on this year’s theme, “Visibility Through Authenticity,” with programming designed to foster connection, creativity, and dialogue.
The week begins March 30 with Pride Palooza at the Union Patio, a high-energy kickoff featuring music and community gathering. On March 31, Crimson Conversations will bring student-led discussions and a panel inspired by the Creating Change Conference, followed by Gayme Night, a tabletop gaming event focused on storytelling and community.
Midweek events include the Pride Market on April 1, showcasing LGBTQIA+ artists, makers, and organizations, and Community Cuts on April 2, where local stylists will provide free haircuts in a space emphasizing self-expression.
The celebration culminates April 3 with Pride Prom, themed “True Colors,” featuring drag performances, interactive art, and other activities. A closing Gayla on April 4 will include live music, food, and a silent auction supporting future programming.
University officials say the events continue efforts to build community and engagement both on campus and across Salt Lake City.
