The Utah Pride Center is bringing its message of visibility and inclusion northward with Brigham City Pride in the Park, a free, family-friendly celebration set for Saturday, Sept. 20, from noon to 6 p.m. at Horsley Park (560 S. Main St.).
The event aims to unite, empower, and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community in Brigham City and surrounding areas, offering a mix of entertainment, resources, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Attendees can enjoy bracelet, tote bag, button, and flag-making stations, yard games such as cornhole, Jenga, and Connect 4, and a karaoke stage for those eager to show off their vocal talent. A free “Clothing Closet” will also be available, offering community members the chance to pick out new threads at no cost.
Several organizations will host resource tables, including the Bear River Region LGBTQ+ Community Coalition, Box Elder Pride, Mama Dragons, Dragon Dads, and Free Mom Hugs.
Organizers encourage attendees to “pack a picnic, bring your rainbows, families, and friends” for an afternoon dedicated to connection and celebration.
Pride in the Park is part of the Utah Pride Center’s ongoing effort to extend programming and visibility beyond Salt Lake City and into Utah’s smaller communities.
